- Black Pepper, India: Used in small amounts to "spike" the aroma of a blend. Added to massage oils used on runners, gymnasts and dancers for its warming effect. Expectorant.
- Pink Pepper, Kenya: Warm peppery fragrance with a strong balsamic undertone. Unlike Black Pepper it is not a skin irritant yet posses similar warming properties. Excellent in a massage blend for arthritis pain and stiffness. As an inhalative it helps ease colds and respiratory problems. Antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial.
- Peppermint, USA: A great inhaltive, excellent for mental fatigue and depression. Relieves headaches, clears the mind and freshens the spirit. It eases egotism and false pride while bolstering feelings of confidence. Use sparingly in the bath to lift the splrits and invigorate. Great insect and vermin repellent.
- Petitgrain, Italy: Calms anger and panic. Helps prevent post-exercise stiffness when added to massage oil or bath.
- Siberian Pine, Mongolia: Lifts the spirit like a walk in the woods. Use sparingly in the bath (2-3 drops) to help increase circulation. Inhale to help relieve colds and sinus congestion. Clears the head and has a great calming and sedative effect on the mind and spirit. Promotes well-being.
- Ravensare, Madagascar: Perhaps the most effective anti-viral essential oil you can use in a diffuser. Safe to use around children and the elderly. A must for you diffuser during cold and flu season where it is reputed to keep the household free of winter maladies. Helps stop or shorten the duration of a cold when used in diffuser or bath at the first sign of sniffles or sneezes.
- Ravintsara, Madagascar: Not to be confused with Ravensare, Ravintsara is a different botanical species with high 1.8 cineol content making it an ideal oil to use for sinus congestion, head colds and flu. Fragrance similar to Rosemary with overtones of Eucalyptus.
- Rosalina, Australia: Fragrance similar to Rosemary, and is used as an alternate due to the ease with which the natural resource is renewed. High linalool content gives Rosalina similar properties to Lavender oil. Strongly anti-microbial. Extremely beneficial in treating ear, nose and throat infections.
- Rhodedendron, Nepal: Stimulates circulation. May decrease pulse rate. Mood elevator, improves mental clarity. Energizing. Eases aches and pains of muscle spasms and strains when used in a massage blend.
- Rose, absolute Bulgarian, Bulgaria: Beautful fragrance. Helps to balance female hormonal/reproduction system. Calming, reduces stress. Mood uplifting. Important oil for treating emotional shock, grief and anger. Antiseptic, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory. Like Rose Otto it improves with age.
- Rose, absolute Maroc, Morocco: Exquisite scent is almost narcotic in effect. The fragrance is world renowned as an aphrodisiac... more so than all other varieties of Rose Oil. helps overcome frigidy, increases semen production, may help in cases of impotence.
