  • Lavender, Highland, France: In both chemical compositions and frangrance. French Highland Lavender is the oil by which all other Lavender is organically grown and carefully harvested to assufe you of an exquisite aroma and maximum effectiveness.
  • Lavender, Spike, Spain: Smells more like Eucalyptus than Lavender. Very effective when dealing with bronchitis and laryngitis. Strong expectorant. Opens nasal passages, clears the head, eases headaches. Analgesic when used in a massage oil. Helps reduce pain and swelling.
  • Lavender, Tasmania, Tasmania: New challenger to French Highland Lavender for the title of "Worlds Best" Lavender. Sweet, soft fragrance with remarkable healing properties. Many professional aromatherapists have selected this Lavender as their standard.
  • Lavender, Ukrainian, Ukrainia: A dryer, sophisticated and more exotic fragrance with identical properties to other Lavenders. Very interesting and intriguing.
  • Leieshwa, Kenya: Antiseptic, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal. More effective than Tea Tree, it can be used to cleanse the skin, help heal cuts and wounds, stops atheletes foot and fights dandruff. While safe to use directly on the skin in small amounts, a carrier should be used for intense or repeated applications. A mix of 1/2% in a carrier will repel mosquitoes and other insects as well as any commercial product. Also at just 1/2% concentration Leleshwa becomes its own natural preservative for creams and lotions.
  • Lemon, Yellow, USA: A refreshing and elevating bath additive. Mix with Jojoba to cleanse oily skin... with Lavender as a hot compress for acne. A marvelous, refreshing oil for the diffuser. Lemon has been shown to increase alertness and reduce errors in the workplace. Strong aniseptic, lemon is considered to be a "purifying" oiil when used in a diffuser.
  • Lemongrass, Guatemalia: Antiseptic. Relieves muscle cramps, tones muscles and makes them more supple when used in a massage oil. Diffusion can help with sore throat. Beneficial in treating headaches. Pleasant, uplifting aroma.
  • Lime (cold pressed), USA: Sweet, full fragrance of a freshly peeled lime. Aromatherapy properties identical to steam distilled Lime Essence.
  • Lime, Essence (steam distilled), USA: Steamed distilled Lime has a sharper-swet fragrance similar to lime beverages. Refreshing and uplifting aroma reduces anxiety, metal fatigue, depression. Excellent in facial lotions for its astringent, toning and restorative qualities.
  • Litsea Cubeba, China: Antiseptic and deodorizing with a strong yet pleasantly heavy lemon scent. Said to reduce stress and promote sleep when used in a diffuser. Uplifting, Bronchodilator. Improves mental clarity. Effective in treating oily skin and acne when used in skin-care preps.
